The board of directors of ADDvise Group announces today that the chairman of the board, Staffan Torstensson, is appointed CEO of the company, effective September 1, 2024. In light of this transition, the board will convene an extraordinary general meeting in the near future to elect Per Åhlgren as board member and new chairman of the board of directors, effective October 1, 2024. The current CEO and board member Rikard Akhtarzand will serve as interim chairman of the board from September 1, 2024, until the new chairman assumes office on October 1, 2024. Staffan Torstensson will step down from his position as a board member in conjunction with his appointment as CEO.
Oliver Humlen, the company’s CFO and former incoming CEO is stepping down with immediate effect. The Board of Directors has concluded that necessary conditions for continued trust are no longer in place.
The search for a new CFO is ongoing and proceeding as previously communicated. Johan Irwe, currently VP Finance at ADDvise, will serve as interim CFO, effective immediately until a new CFO is appointed.
Staffan Torstensson has served as member and chairman of the board of directors of the company for 10 years. Staffan has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and board assignments in listed companies, Staffan’s most recent position is the position of partner at Corporate Finance, Evli AB. Staffan is a board member in Tuida Holding AB, GB Tennis AB and Glase Energy AB. Per Åhlgren is the largest shareholder of ADDvise and has extensive experience with listed companies. He currently serves as chairman of the board of directors of Bong AB and Mangold Fondkommission and board member in Vestum AB.
